This morning I turned on the day-long marathon of Groundhog’s Day just in time to watch Bill drive Punxsutawney Phil off the cliff in a fiery explosion. It’s my favorite part of the movie and probably a favorite of all my born-on-Groundhog’s-Day compatriots. It’s raining and I didn’t see my shadow when I emerged from my hole in California. (In case your wondering about my prognostication.)
Anyway, it is my tradition to contemplate how grateful I am for all my amazing friends on my birthday and to give birthday gifts. I am so very grateful to all of you who are joining me on this Written Bird journey!!
I have two books that were released on Audible this year, Far From Fearless and We Were Wilder. My narrator Danielle Rayne is amazing both reading my short essays just like the voice in my head and also in bringing Genny Jones to life as she journeys across a rewilded west.
If you would be interested in a free download of either of these audiobooks, please reply and I’ll send you a code. Check out the links above or by clicking on the images and see if they are up your alley. I have limited codes. So, it’s first come first serve, but I’d be thrilled to give what I have to you all.
Here’s to waking up tomorrow and discovering that it is at last, February 3rd. We will return to our scheduled posts on Sunday. In the meantime, 🎶 “I got you babe!” 🎵
