AS IT HAPPENS. I am coming off a long stretch of overwork in which I had not done my regular Sunday time-sampling of my yard birds in... months. Today was the day I was going to start back, but haven't been outside all day. Because--wait for it--I'm working.
Every week when I upload the new module to my online Intro to Psych classes I include a Stressbuster: It's a tradition I started when the University closed at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and just kept up because, well, stress.
The odd module doesn't already have one, for one reason or another, and this week's fell into that category. So I reached back to this thread and copped your 10-minute bird-listening exercise and shared it with students. I've asked them to let you know how it turns out.

I'm headed out now.
Let me know who you've got there!
Oh it's super quiet here this time of year, and I was out at the quietest time of day to boot. So almost nobody, not even my regulars.
